Feldpost cover from a correspondence of a Liebstandarte Adolf Hitler Sturmmann serving with a variety of heavy Panzer (Tiger) units from mid 1943 until captured by the Soviets in the Battle of Berlin. He was based out of the Sennelager camp by Paderborn. Amazingly, he survived his POW experience and was repatriated; I have a copy of a letter from him after the war to the authorities giving his service record. This cover comes from his service with the schwere Panzer-Abteilung 101 (Tigers), I. SS-Korps, in Belgium [Tessin] gearing up for the expected Allied invasion.
