Original large format photograph from the estate of Hugo Eckener; this photo (7.5x9.5 inches) shows the interior of the Graf Zeppelin on August 30, 1929, during the Round-the-World flight. Signed on the reverse on that date by Kurt Eckener, son of Hugo. Probably taken in Lakehurst where the Zeppelin lay at that time, since the caption is in English.

Scarce Real Photo Postcard RPPC of Communist leader Rosa Luxemburg, with black mourning border. Along with leader karl Liebknecht, Rosa was captured, tortured, and brutally executed on July 15, 1919. Evne though her views were much more nuanced than the mainstream Communist Party, she is still a hero to the far left. Slightly worn, excellent condition. Hard to find period pictures of this feidty little woman.
