Lot of three 2nd issue Austria 1921 Abstimmung / Plebiscite to join with Germany (Salzburg had historically been part of Bavaria). This demand was in contravention to the Versailles Treaty and thus the vote was outlawed and never took place. Two values with "Echt..." / Genuine... handstamp reverse. We have several of these sets pulled from original part sheets -- the stamp set you get will be as good or better than the one pictured (they are all very fine post-office fresh) but IT WILL PROBABLY NOT BE THIS EXACT SET, as there is not way to identify which is which -- they are to all intents and purposes identical. |
