Osaka, Japan postcard dated Jan 22, 1901, provisioning at Nagasaki, used from on board the SMS Kaiserin Elizabeth, in China to support the Alliance of 8 Country's troops in suppressing the Boxer Rebellion. This is a scarce card from the small contingent of the Austrian Kriegsmarine in the Far East at this period. Austria had a relatively small Navy which became landlocked after WWI.
