| Germany Zeppelin Pioneer Karl Beuerle Estate RPPC and Cover Lot Original Real Photo Postcard and other PPCs Lot from Zeppelin Pioneer Oberingenieur Karl Beuerle, who served aboard the airships until the 1930s. This is from the estate of the nephew of Karl. Oberingenieur Beuerle ended as a lead mechanic on the Graf Zeppelin. A long-time airman, having survived serving in various WWI Zeppelin airships, he was with the Graf from the start (we have several pioneer usages as well!). We were lucky enough to purchase the Zeppelin collection of the nephew from whence these came. The first RPPC shows Karl and his wife, other photos/RPPCs show Karl aboard various Pioner Zeppelins, as well as passengers in the gondola, also aboard the Graf, etc. He posted many letters from the destinations of the Graf (including one on a USA voyage). There are also several Feldpost covers from his time aboard diverse WWI airships. A completely unique lot. All covers/cards are scanned. | $2999.00 | |

| 3rd Reich Germany Early Albert Reich Bischoff Christfest Christmas Propaganda Card Heil zum Christfest! : Christmas propaganda card for the Sturmabteilung by artist Albert Reich, from Verlag fuer nationale Bildkunst, R. Bischoff. Exceedingly rare card; the first I've offered. Notable not only for being an early NSDAP promotional card (ca1931 as per the other cards in this style from Bischoff), but because it used the term "Chirstfest", as opposed to the agnostic Weihnachten. Being adamantly opposed to Christianity, there aren't many cards the combine the word "Christ" and the Nazi flag. Slightly worn at the edges. Excellent condition for a super-rare card. | German Navy Spanish Civil War Befehlshaber der Spanienstreitkraefte Feldpost Cover Feldpost cover from the Befehlshaber der Spanienstreitkraefte / Commander of the Spanish Armed Forces of the 11. Spanien Verband / 11th Spanish Assembly of the German Navy, which was, at this time on board Panzerschiff Deutschland. From 1936 until 1938, the German Navy, along with land and air forces (The Condor Legion), were sent to support Franco's Fascist Falangists (Spanish Phalanx of the Assemblies of the National Syndicalist Offensive / Falange Espanola de las Juntas de Ofensiva Nacional Sindicalista) in the Spanish Civil War / Spanischen Buergerkrieges. The Nazis were apparently excited to be able to try out many of their new weapons in combat.
