Never made it, of course, due to the Hindenburg's crash at Lakehurst the day after this mailing. Slightly worn, good condition, as per scans. '01 CV EUR350++ (only 722 covers were registered) for the non-flight. Sent registered airmail with New York Foreign Mail cancel for the day of the crash, after rerouting. With the handstamp lower right saying returned because of the crash -- also 'Return to Sender' markings. About as close as most of us will get to flown crash cover.
