Feldpost cover from civilian member of the Volkssturm being trained in Wetzlar, with long contents. "It is very cold here. We were out doing battle practice all morning... the stupid thing is the barracks have no heated rooms... tactics, always tactics, are the main thing here. The busines is very nice, with almost all former officers with very few exceptions.[more on their excercises and what they eat]... Our service ends Sunday and we get to travel home early Monday morning...I don't know if you are getting any of these letters. There is no mail here...greetings and kisses from your Daddy."
